Wedding Flowers

This weeks post is all about your wedding venue flowers and also touching on table decorations. When you go for your initial meeting with your florist you will put together a selection of flowers and foliage which reflect your theme, dress and also the venue. Once your bouquet flowers have been chosen then you can dispersed these flowers throughout the venue to link all your venues together. I’ve broken this blog post down into two sections to make it easier to understand, so let’s get into it.

Ceremony Flowers

Whether you are going for a religious or civil ceremony your flowers will be very similar and will depend on what you are looking for. The chair that face the aisle will typically have flowers attached to the chair. This helps to bring attention to where the aisle is and also adds a lovely pop of colour and softness to this area of the space. You could also line the aisle with petals too, if you have a flower girl she would be doing this job anyway. As the reach the end of the aisle it’s also nice to have something either at the alter or either side of the end of the aisle. The image on the right is a lovely dome of flowers and foliage that really soften and brighten up the room you are getting married in.

trees in church

If you are lucky enough to get married in a building with very high ceiling or a grand cathedral and are looking for a gorgeous way to decorate your ceremony why not look into having trees. I know it sounds really odd but if you take the time to pick out quite sparse trees with maybe some flowers in it then the outcome can be stunning.

Wedding Breakfast

Where ever you decide to have your wedding breakfast flowers will really help to show the theme of your wedding and bring some life and colour to the space. I have put together a collection of different ways you can incorporate flowers and foliage into your table decorations.

The most important rule for your table decorations is they either need to be bellow or above someone eye level. This way you can ensure that everyone can see each other, making conversation easier and allowing everyone to chat to each other. With this in mind you can incorporate flowers however you like.

For low table arrangement bottles, vases and lanterns make for great vessels to hold flowers in or around. You can pick out certain flowers or colours from your bouquet to great a colour scheme through the whole room either making it look unison on each table or adding some difference variations around the room. You will find if you add some foliage (leaves) into your flower arrangements the price will drop as foliage is a lot cheaper than flowers.

If you are wanting more of a statement piece then you can have a much large display of flowers. Tall flower arrangement will normally be held up by a candle stand, or something similar in shape and then had flowers incorporated into it. With a tall flower arrangment your find it will make an amazing impact the moment you walk into the room because they will be around you eye level when you are stand up.

If you are currently choosing your wedding flowers then Pinterest is a great way to gather some inspiration and show your florist what you are looking for. Go take a look at last week blog post all about wedding bouquets as that also part of your wedding flowers. I will cover table decorations in further detail a bit later on so keep an eye out for that. Hope you had a lovely weekend and I will see you very soon.

6 Ways to Improve your Mood

Everyone has points during winter were their mood can drop so I thought I would share with you a few ways to improve your mood. Everyone will have different ways to improve how they are feeling but if you are stuck then maybe try a few of these out.

Taking some time out

If always find if I am in a bad mood it’s normally best for me to stop what I am doing and take a break, whether that it’s 10 mins or 1 hour, how ever long you need. I find taking a break and doing something else allows me to calm down and then come back to the problem or situation with a clear and calm head. I also like to go to a space or room where its just me, if i’m in a bad or low mood the last thing I need is being asking if I am ok, normally I just need some space.

Go for a walk

A great way to clear your mind and improve your mood immediately is going for a walk, even if it’s raining outside grab an umbrella, get on some waterproof shoes and go for a little walk. It doesn’t have to be a long walk it could just be 10 minute and it’s amazing how much better you feel afterwards. If I am feeling low at the weekend then I will normally go for a walk with my Husband, sometime its nice to go out with someone.

Read a book

If you don’t fancy the sound of going for a walk then why not sit down and read a book or your favourite magazine. This will allow you to completely immerse yourself in a different activity. I love sitting down a reading a book for 30 minutes, it helps me clear my head and really improves my mood too.

Fresh Flowers

Having fresh flowers dotted around your home will help improve your mood without you realising. There has been a lot of research into how flowers really help improve your mental health and therefore improve your mood. I love having spray carnations, there are so many different colour to choose from and they last for nearly a month, which is amazing compared to most flowers.

Pamper Yourself

If it has been a very stressful day and I know my mood has suffered from this then having a little pamper session will always improve my mood. I love starting off with a bath and pouring some bath salts in. My bath salts have dried lavender them, making my bath smell incredible and it really helps me relax. I also love putting on a face mask and my current go to is the Sanctuary Spa Radiance 1 minute Flash Facial. This face mask is so quick, perfect if you don’t have a lot of time, and it leaves your skin looking so glowy. When my skin looks great my mood immediately improves with it, meaning face masks are a life and mood saver for me.

Getting a good nights sleep is one of the best ways to ensure you are in a good mood. A good nights sleep is more about quality of sleep rather then how long you sleep for. You could sleep for 10 hours but have a very restless night, which could result in your mood being quite low due to being very tired. I always like to use a pillow spray before I go to sleep, my favourite is by This Works. It helps me fall asleep really quickly and I sleep right through to the morning, which means I always wake up bright eyed and in a good mood.

Hopefully this will help you if you want some quick easy ways to improve your mood. We all have points where we are feeling quite low so its good to know a few techniques and things you can do to try and help you feel a bit better and happier. Keep your spirit up!

Have a good weekend!

Date Night Edit

With Valentines day just round the corner I thought I would do a Date Night Edit. This blog post will include a bit of beauty, jewellery & fashion along with some of my favourite date night essentials.

Starting off with beauty and a sexy lip. When I want to feel really confindent in myself then a red lip is the way forward. My current favourite is the Ted Baker Tinted Lip Balm in dark. Don’t let the tinted lip balm name fool you, this is very pigmented and lasts for hours whilst keeping your lips feeling hydrated. For me this is the perfect red as it has pink undertones, rather then more of a orange undertone. If you wanted a lipstick that really makes you feel confident and a bit sexy then I would definitely wear this on a date night.

For the eyes I normally go for a subtle eyeshadow with a more bold mascara, but not clumpy. I always reach for the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara, it gives my lashes the perfect of volume while also defining them. I love that this mascara is also jet black so it really makes your eyes pop, you could even wear this mascara on it’s own for a more subtle look. Moving onto nails and I always think a nude looks so sophisticated and elegant so my choice has to be Essie Nail Lacquer Ballet Slippers. This colour is the perfect nude. It is very natural and the perfect shade of subtle pinkI also love the longevity of this nail varnish, it last 5 days without chipping which is brilliant for a non gel nail varnish.

The final beauty essential for me has to be a spritz of perfume and my all time favourite is Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede Cologne. It’s actually the one I wore on my wedding day so it holds so many memories for me and my husband. A fragrance can be so powerful, taking you back to the times you have worn it before. I always wear Jo Malone perfume on dates and special occasions.

I don’t usually wear jewellery on a daily basis, expect for my wedding & engagement ring, so its nice to wear something on a date. Popping on some lovely earrings always makes me feel a bit more confident and special. The Ted Baker Stud Earnings are gorgeous with a swarovski crystal set in a silver clasp. They look stunning when they  catch the light but are so comfortable to wear all night.

Another piece of jewellery I love to wear is a necklace, they can really complete a look. This beautiful necklace is made from gold and has a lovely precious stone set incorporated into the pendant. This necklace is quite small but it really makes an outfit feel timeless and look so elegant. If you wanted you could go for more of a statement necklace if you have a very plain outfit or a more delicate one, like the one I chose.

The Perfect clutch

The last Date Night essential is a clutch bag with my favourite being Claudia Canova Clutch Bag with Gold Hardware. This clutch bag is perfect for when you want to take a few items with you. This clutch has a faux leather exterior with gold hard wear and a very delicate gold chain, so you can wear it over the shoulder too. I love how simple this clutch is with a touch of gold on the side.

So that’s my Date Night Edit. I would love to know what pieces are an essential to your date night look.

January Favourites

I can’t believe February is already here but that means it is time for my January favourites. I  tried out quite a few new products in January, rediscovered some old favourites and have a fashion favourite too.

Skincare Savour

Starting off with some skincare pieces and a product I rediscovered last month was The ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5. I used this product last winter and then put it away and forgot about it. When I was doing my 2017 Beauty Favourites I found it and fell in love with it again. I have been suffering from quite a dry forehead and this serum has saved my skin. I love how hydrating this product is with combination skin without leaving your skin looking greasy. The Ordinary is one of my favourite skincare brands, their products work so well and are so affordable.

My next skincare product is La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo (+) Unifiant. I have been using the original formula of the Effaclar Duo (+) for about 6 months and then received a sample of the Effaclar Duo (+) Unifant so decided to give it ago in the mornings. This product is so good and has a medium coverage, which really helps take away the redness of spots and scarring. I love that I can apply this in the morning before makeup, knowing it will help with my spots and give me some basic coverage too. I used this in light and it works perfectly on my pale skin.

A Perfect Nude Lip Colour

Surprisingly I only have one makeup favourite, which is the Ted Baker Tinted Lip Balm in Light. I didn’t wear much makeup in January, which was partly because I was trying to get my dry skin under control and so I gave it a rest from makeup. Even though I didn’t wear much makeup I still enjoyed popping on a bit of mascara, concealer and lipstick if I was going out. I loved wearing the Ted Baker Tinted Lip Balm, whenever I went out as its so moisturising and surprising full coverage too. I love how nude this Tinted Lip Balm is, with a pinky undertone instead of brown. It lasts a good 6 hours with out becoming patchy or making my lips feel dry, which I adore.

Silky Soft Hands

Moving onto hands and the Zoella Beauty Winter Wonder Hand Hand Cream has helped keep my hands so soft and hydrated. I normally use the L’Occtiane Shea Butter Hand Cream but find it can leave my hands feeling greasy, which the Winter Wonder Hand Hand Cream doesn’t. I think this is my favourite range by Zoella Beauty, its quite a delicate scent of Peony & Mint that isn’t overpowering at all. The product has shea butter in it to help keep your hands nourished though even the coldest of weathers.

Bedtime Essential

When it comes to falling asleep sometime I get into bed and really snuggle falling asleep but that all changed when I found the This works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray. This products works so well, all I do is spray it on my pillow just before going to bed and I am asleep in a few minutes. You pillow literally smells like a field of lavender, which is my heaven. I have a little travel size bottle so I took it with me to Vienna recently and it helped me fall asleep and have a good night sleep every night. This Works do lots of different products to help you fall asleep like body oils but have also branched into body and skin care now, it is well worth checking them out.

Outfits Must Have

In the boxing days sales I picked up a few fashion pieces, with one of them being a Mint Velvet Raspberry Solid Blanket Scarf. I had been looking for a block colour blanket scarf for a while and then I came across this one, which has a gorgeous colour and doesn’t contain any wool. I love how big it is, which means I can wrap it around my neck once and it keeps me super warm and cosy. I love the Raspberry colour, it helps add a pop of colour to a very plain outfit. Unfortunately it’s no longer available in Mint Velvet but hopefully they will bring out a similar version next winter.

So there are my favourites from Januray, a bit of a mix compared to my normal beauty favourites. What products have you been loving recently?

Winter Styling

When it comes to style and fashion I love everything about it. If you don’t already know I have a Youtube channel, which has a lot of fashion videos including my capsule wardrobe. Winter is one of my favourite seasons to style up, for me its all about layers and playing around with different textures and colours. I thought I would share with you some of my favourite winter styling pictures from Pinterest and my key winter pieces.

Chunky Knits

Chunky knits are my go to when it comes to winter styling, they are so easy to create an outfit with and keep you toasty and warm. I am always on the hunt for a knit jumper, you can never have too many. There are so many different styles and materials to choose from. I really want to invest is high end knitwear, as I feel they will last for longer with out bobbling and stretching. My favourite colours have to be navy, blush pink and the classic white knits.

Long lined Coats

I bought my first long lined coat last year and have become obsessed with it, I am now on the hunt for some more. I love how warm they are but they are also really stylish. There are so many different cuts and styles to choose from so there is definitely something for everyone. I currently have a gorgeous blush pink long lined coat with a double collar, which you can belt to define your waist. I can see myself wearing it in years to come, its just a staple in my wardrobe.

If you are looking for a classic timeless coat then grey, black, navy or even camel are great colours to choose from and you know they wont go out of fashion. I think if you are going to invest in one piece of clothing this time of the year, then it has to be a coat, its essential to keeping you warm and finishes any outfit.

Feel Cosy And Looking Stylish

I’m the sort of person who feels the cold so wearing cosy and warm clothes is essential for me during the winter. For me layering is the way I stay warm and look stylish. There are so many ways you can do this whether its a chunky knit under a bomber jacket or throwing a blanket scarf on underneath your coat. Just keep in mind what colours you are wearing, I like to keep my clothes quite neutral and then add a bit of colour through my scarf or my jeans.

A pair of shoes I really want to buy is over the knee boots, they looks gorgeous and are so versatile. You could easily wear them over a skinny pair of jeans or even with a dress. For me black is a very classic boot colour that would go with a variety of different outfits and seasons too.

Mixing in Colour

If your like me and tend to stick to greys, black and white clothing then adding a pop of colour to an outfit can be quite refreshing. You don’t have to go crazy, but a bit of colour will really stand out and go a long way. I love wearing my blush pink coat or my dark blue jeans to break up quite a neutral colour pallet. If you don’t like wearing a lot of colour in your clothing then why not add it in with a hat, scarf or even a bag.

I hope you enjoyed this different style of blog post and let me know what your favourite item of clothing is this winter. If you have any style/fashion posts you would like to see then let me know.

Have a lovely weekend!

Items on my Bedside Table

When it comes to my bedside table there are a few products that I always have on hand and some lifestyle pieces too.

The two beauty pieces I always have by my bed are the Glossier Balm Dotcom and Zoella Winter Wonder Hand Hand Cream. The Glossier Balm Dotcom is the perfect lip balm to apply just before bed. It has quite a thick consistency that leaves your lips feeling soft and hydrated the next day. I use the original balm Dotcom at night and it works wonders.

I always find during the day my hands can become quite dry so just before bed I apply the Zoella Winter Wonder Hand Hand Cream to allow all the moisture and shea butter to sink in over night and work it’s magic. I love the formulation of this hand cream, its quite thick but sinks in quickly without leaving a greasy residue. This hand cream smells amazing too, with its Peony and refreshing mint notes, and has helped stop my hands from becoming very dry from all the cold weather.

Once I have read my book I spray the This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray, which is amazing and completely relaxing, so you fall asleep quickly. I love using this when I have had a stressful day and need a little extra help falling asleep. When I spray this on my pillow its like I have walked into a field of lavender, my Husband always asks for some too now. I don’t tend to use this everyday, but if you have problems falling asleep then why not try this product. You can also get the Sleep Plus Pillow Spray, which is great if you wake up at night and can’t get back to sleep, as it releases more lavender when you move to scent you back to sleep.

Candles & Flowers

I love having fresh flowers in the bedroom, it adds a pop of colour in the room, and always looks really nice. I usually go for carnations as they last for about four weeks before wilting and they are scented, which I prefer in the bedroom. If you don’t want to keep buying flowers then why don’t you get a plant instead, here’s some ideas of which ones you might like Incorporating Plants into your Home.

Before I get into bed I like to light a candle and have it burning on my bedside table. My current favourite is the Zoella Lazy Days Candle, it’s has a lovely cosy scent that isn’t too overpowering. I need my bedroom to be a cosy and inviting environment for me to be able to sleep well so having a candle burning before I go to bed helps me create this space.

When I get into bed I like to reading a book before going to sleep. For Christmas I received The Working Woman’s Handbook by Phoebe Lovatt and have really enjoyed reading a little bit every night to help motivate me to try and make my dreams become a reality. This book is perfect for anyone who needs that extra push or guidance in the right direction to start their own business from the very beginning.

The items I have on my bedside table change with the seasons but these are my winter essentials.

The Nude Edit

I love buying and testing out new makeup pieces so my makeup collection has grown quite rapidly over the last year. Even with a lot of choice I always seem to gravitate towards my trusty nude makeup look, so I thought I would share with you my favourite nude beauty products. Enjoy!

Starting off with eyes with the Laura mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Au Naturel. I only bought this a month ago but I have fallen in love with the formulation and colour of this cream eye shadow. I bought this as part of a set at Space NK and love all the other colours too. This product is a cream eyeshadow in a stick, which I apply a small amount to my finger and then blend it onto my eye lid. It has great coverage and also acts as a great base to powder eyeshadows on top for a more dramatic look. This product lasts all day without leaving my eyelids looking oily.

Cream eyeshadows are a create way to create a very natural eye that is quick and easy to apply. I tend to always reach for a cream eyeshadow when I’m going for a no makeup look or when I am in a hurry.

Another great eyeshadow is the Kiko Eyeshadow Colour in Smart 02, which is a pressed powder. I love how subtle this eyeshadow is when applied and you can wear it on it’s own or over the top of a base colour, to give that slight sparkle look. The eyeshadow is really buildable so you can have a slight sparkle to a full on party eye, which I love. This product is also really versatile as it can also double us as a powder highlighter too, perfect for traveling as you have a two in one product.

My default lip is always a nude, they are so easy to wear and go with any outfit I am wearing. I normally tend to wear a lipstick in the winter and my current go to is the Ted Baker Tinted Lip Balm in Light. I picked this up in boots in their sale and have fallen in love with the formulation of these lip tints. Firstly these are more of a lip stick as they are very pigmented but they leave you lips feeling so hydrated with a slight glossy look to them, which I love. The packaging is a gorgeous rose gold and they have a high end weight to them too.

For a lip that is more ‘your lip but better’ colour I would have to choose the Burts Bees  Lipstick in Blush Basin 501. This lipstick is more of a matt finish but still leaves your lips feeling hydrated without a glossy look. I love how this lipstick evens out my lip colour whilst leaving my lips looking very natural. The formulation of these lipsticks are lovely and last all day, which is perfect when you don’t have time to reapply during the day.

When it comes to nails I only have one nude that I absolutely love and that is the Essie Nail Lacquer in Ballet Slippers. I bought this nail varnish last year for my wedding day and became completely obsessed by it. I love the colour, it’s a pinky nude which just makes your nails look so natural and perfect. I normally apply about 3 coats to get an even coverage of colour and it lasts at least a week before any chips appear, with a top coat applied.

So that’s my Beauty Nude Edit. I would love to know what your favourite nude beauty products are.

Have a lovely weekend!

Incorporating Plants into your Home

January is always a great time to give your home a new look, whether that be buying some new home accessories, changing the layout of a room or just changing the atmosphere. Today I thought I would talk about how you can added greenery into your home and the benefits of doing so.

There are so many great reason for having plants in your home: stress reliever, they purify the air, and of course look beautiful. I love having plants in every room, they bring a lease of life into our flat and makes the room feel fresh and homely. If you live in a flat you most probably don’t have a garden so this is a great way of bring one inside instead.

There are so many different plants to choose from, it took us forever to agree on which ones we wanted to get. We are three different plants with one being a succulent and the other two are different types of ferns. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future as I now want to have plants all over our home. I think next time we won’t buy ferns as we are finding them quite difficult to keep alive due to the changing conditions in our small flat, whereas our succulent hardly needs any water and looks so pretty.

If you work from home then popping a plant on your desk in a cute pot and you’ll find it helps make your office space feel fresh and adds a touch of green. If you know you will forget to water the plants then maybe go for a succulent of cactus. Just remember some plants can be a bit temperamental and take a while to settle into their new environment, just keep at it or do some research into how best to look after it and you will be fine.

Try to select plants for different rooms based on their needs and the overall look you are going for. Maybe look at have a palm on a large landing, whereas in your bedrooms and kitchens look at smaller plants like succulent or even a small spider plant. You tend to have more space in your dining room and lounge so you can get away with a few small plant on a coffee table or side unit and then a tall plant, like a cheese plant, in a corner.

There are so many options to choose from so why not buy a couple of different types of plants, dot them around you house and take it from there. Pinterest is a great place to source inspiration and ideas of how to arrange plants, where that is hanging from the ceiling, on a shelf or a trio on a coffee table. Just remember to water your plants and make sure they get the right amount of sunlight.

Combating Dry Skin During Winter

You may find during the winter your skin can become very dry in places or even all over. I find that my forehead becomes very dry, but at times can feel more like my regular combination skin, making it quite difficult to find the best products to use. Here are some of the products that have really helped clear up my dry areas this winter.

Firstly starting off with cleansers. My Morning Skincare routine always starts off with a Cleanser and my favourite has to be the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel. I love that this cleanser starts off as a Gel and then turns into an oil, which you then wipe of with a muslin cloth. This cleanser really helps get rid of any dirt on you skin, and the muslin cloth helps remove dead skin cells, and it leaves you skin feeling fresh but not stripped of moisture. The key for cleansers is to find one that effectively cleans you skin without getting rid of all your natural oils, as this is your body’s natural way of hydrating your skin. If you suffer from really dry skin then maybe look into a cream cleanser, Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish is a great option. Finding a cleanser that your skin likes is key.

Exfoliating once a week is a great way to help stimulate your skin cells and whilst getting rid of the dead skin cells too. I’m currently using the Codage Paris Creme Gommante (scrubbing Cream), which has rice particles to give you a gentle exfoliation. I have quite sensitive skin so having a gentle exfoliation every week doesn’t aggravate my skin but still leaves it feeling silky smooth. Another exfoliant I love using is the Dermalogica Daily Superfoliant Exfoliant . You use this product everyday, it’s so quick to use and has some great ingredients to keep your skin looking and feeling great.

When it comes to serums my saving grace has to be The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, its an amazing product considering the price. I love adding in a serum just after my cleanser and exfoliator just to give my skin that extra boost of moisture. I always run back to The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, when my skin starts feeling dry, as this product helps clear up any dry skin within a few days and keeps it looking healthy and really hydrated. I will usually use a serum every morning and evening to make sure my skin is as a hydrated as possible with all this cold weather.

Using a good moisturiser is the last step to making sure your skin has plenty of moisture all locked in ready for the day ahead or just before heading off to bed. I find moisturisers are quite tricky to get right. I seem to suffer from dry patches but also an oily t-zone so using moisturisers with oils in them make my skin very greasy, which I don’t like. I have recently been trying out the Caudalie Moisturising Sorbet, which my skin seems to like. It is a very light weight whipped texture which sinks into the skin really quickly but does seem to really hydrate my skin. You need to use a moisturiser thats right for your skin type, personally my skin can’t handle really thick creams, but if you are stuck then pop into your favourite skincare shop and ask for their advice.

My final product has to be Lip balm. I am a lip balm addict, I hate having dry, sore, cracked lips so I am always on the hunt for a great lip balm that moisturises my lips and  will keep them moisturised for hours. My go to lip balm has to be the Glossier Balm Dotcom, it is a fantastic product that I can’t rave about enough. Since using this product my lips have’t been sore or dry at all, even on the coldest of days. I use this every morning and evening and love that you can eat and drink with this lip balm on and it doesn’t come off. A fantastic product that you need to try.

So those are the products I can’t live without during the winter. I would love to know what your winter must have skincare products are.

Have a lovely weekend!

Starting 2018 on the Right Foot

With the New Year here, a fresh new year lies ahead of us. I personally love starting a new year, making goals and looking forward to what it may bring. Before I was a blogger I use to hate the new year, I loved Christmas and January but I always seemed to feel very lost. There are lots of different things you can do to start the year feeling productive and making the most of a clean slate.

Making Goal/Resolution

In December I love reflecting on the past year and see what I would like to improve upon in the following year or any changes I would like to make. I find making goals is better then resolutions, as having a goal is something you can work towards whereas a resolution feels like you have to do it by the end of a year. My goals this year are a mixture of personal and blogging goal, you can see a few here. Setting some goals will help keep you motivated and determined to make this year the best yet.

Tie up Any Loose Ends

With the new year here it’s time to tie up all the loose ends. From to-do list’s through to a project you might of never got round to finishing. By completely all those things you can then start out fresh without having to look back.

Work towards your dream

No matter where you are in your life, having dreams and aspiration to work towards is one of the best ways to keep motivated. Personally I always have something I want to work towards, it keep me going even on the hardest of days knowing I am one step closer to reaching my dreams. Even the smallest of milestones will eventually get you to your dreams you just have to keep on pushing, you will get there!

Spruce up your Home

I always find it sad seeing the Christmas decorations come down, so I will usually do it new years eve, meaning the house is all fresh and ready for the new year. In January why not switch up the accessories you have in your home, buy a few new pieces you love, making your home feel updated. Buying some flowers or a house plant is a great way to bring some life back into your home and help beat the winter blues.

Get Motivated

January can leave you feeling quite unmotivated and unproductive but why not take the new year and use it to your advantage. A new year can mean so many things and there are so many opportunities lying ahead of you so grab them with two hands and don’t let go. If you find it hard to get motivated then why not try some of these things: change up your working space, take a mini break to clear your head, work out what really motivates you. I find that the new year is a great time for me to channel all my productivity and motivation to make my blog even better than last year but also help develop myself as a person too.

Hopefully this will give you some ideas on how to start your year the best possible way! Is there anything you do at the beginning of the year to make sure you have the best possible start to the year?
