When Summer eventually arrives in the UK, I love going outside and enjoying the sunshine either it be going on walks or relaxing in the garden. One thing I am very aware of is protecting your skin, which I think everyone is great at doing on holiday but not at home. I have quite fair skin and find that I burn very easily in the sun if I don’t wear any Suncream, so I have always used a factor 50 once a day suncream. It’s so important to protect your skin from the UV-A & UV-B rays from the sun and make sure you use a factor that is right for you skin. If you are fair like me, use factor 50, if you are olive skin then you can get away with wearing factor 30. Read more →

When it comes to makeup sometimes I want a very subtle minimal makeup look and recently I have found lip pencils that are a great way to add a very subtle, natural look. One of my favourite lip pencils is the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lip liner. It’s a beautiful pinky brown that is a ‘your lips but better’ colour, and it looks stunning on its own. The only problem with high end makeup is the price tag that comes with it so I went on the hunt to find a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury pillow talk lip liner and I found one. Read more →

I have heard so many amazing things about The Ordinary products so I decided to take the plunge and pick one of them up for myself. After doing a bit of research into their different skincare products I decided to pick up the Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5, as my skin can become quite dry at times. I have been using the serum for about a month now so I thought I would share my view and experience on it. Read more →

I have never thought about using a hair oil, until recently, as I always found using a conditioner helped to keep my hair soft and looking healthy. I can get quite a greasy scalp so I have always stayed clear of hairs oils, in the fear they would make my hair look greasier. A few months ago my hair had really lost its shine, making it look less healthy, and conditioner just wasn’t doing the trick so I decided to give a hair oil a go. Read more →

Let’s be honest I don’t think a lot of people look forward to taking their makeup off at the end of the day, so finding a makeup remover you love makes it less of a chore. I use to always use micellar water followed by my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish. I found when I use the micellar water it used to feel uncomfortable around my eyes and didn’t get all the makeup of my skin. So I decided to go on the hunt for a product that will take off all my makeup and I dont have to cleanse afterwards, if I am in a hurry. Read more →

Everyone want their makeup to last whether it’s for a night out or maybe your wedding day. Over the past couple of months I have picked up some makeup products that really help your makeup last the whole day, whilst giving you a flawless makeup look. So here are a few things I have learnt over the past year. Read more →

It doesn’t seem to matter what season we are in my lips always feel really dry and flakey and I decided enough was enough. I have tried loads of lip balms in the past but have never found one that leaves my lips feeling hydrated and smooth for hours, until now.

I recently visited a L’occitane Store in London and came across the Shea Butter Organic Certified, which is a balm that can be used on your lips or anywhere else on your body that is dehydrated, dry or sensitive. This product is made from 100% shea butter, so you can safely say its made from natural ingredients with no nasty chemicals in it, which dries your skin even further. Read more →

I recently picked up a few beauty pieces that I have been wanting to try for ages and finally bought them. As some you know I am getting married this year so I am currently trying out a lot of different makeup to find my perfect wedding makeup look. Read more →

I find in the winter my hair can become a bit a bit dry and sometimes unmanageable so I thought I would share with you three products I now can’t live without. I normally wash my hair every other day as my roots get quite greasy by the second day. I am currently trying a new detox shampoo once a week to try and get my hair to last longer, I’ll let you know if it works. So let’s get into my three must have hair products. Read more →

2016 seemed to be the year I tried out loads of different beauty and skincare ideas, so I thought I would share with you my favourites. Read more →

L’Occitane has been one of my favourite brands for a few years as their body products are just amazing. I love the way they have so many different ranges, with different scents, such that there is always something for everyone. Today I wanted to share with you some of their hand creams, which I absolutely love. L’Occitane have beautifully formulated hand creams that will leave your hands feeling hydrated and ready for the rest of the day. They have different types of hand creams: some formulated with Shea Butter for thick and nourishing hand cream, others are more light weight and cooling for the summer. They also have a huge variety of scents some of which are also best-selling perfumes. So let’s take a look at my favourites. Read more →

It’s been a few months since I showed you my last skincare routine, now winter and the weather is getting cold, my skincare product have changed. My skin can get very dry and tight at times due to the cold weather so I normally go for a thicker moisturiser to help with this. I have also recently started to use a serum by Sanctuary Spa, which I will talk about a bit later.Read more →

If you haven’t ever ventured into a Molton Brown store then you need to do so, they have so many different body washes with a huge selection of scents. When it comes to my baths I like to switch up what I am using and I’m always on the hunt for an amazing smelling body wash. Molton Brown have a lovely service where they let you try out their product with a complimentary hand and arm massage, which I think is a brilliant idea and so relaxing. So I want to share with you my favourite scent from Molton brown to give you an idea of what to look out for. Read more →

A few weeks ago I was contacted by Beauty Essentials asking if I wanted to review their dry brush cleaner. I decided to try the product out even though at first I was a bit sceptical of how well it would work. This product is a stippled sponge inside a tin where you press your brush in to the sponge and rotate your brush in a circular motion. It sounded like a really quick and easy product to use so I was excited to try it out. Read more →

When the autumn/winter months start drawing in I always pull out the face masks that will help give my skin the extra boost. In the winter my skin starts to become dry around my ‘T’ zone and my skin becomes quite dull. So I have two favourite masks that I switch up  to make sure my skin it looking its best. So lets get into it. Read more →

So I decided to try out some skincare products from Sanctuary Spa. Read more →

Some of you may already know but on Wednesday it was my birthday so I thought today’s blog post would be birthday related. I have always wanted a beauty advent calendar but always find they are so expensive, so this year my parents surprised me by buying the L’Occitane Beauty Advent Calendar for my birthday. I was so excited when I opened this present as my mum knew how much I wanted this advent calendar. Read more →

Autumn Nail Colours

October 7, 2016

I decided as it is now autumn I would share with you my three nail varnishes I love to wear when I need a dark colour on my nails. During the autumn I normally wear a mix of dark and nude nail colours, I’m currently wearing a nude from Rimmel. So lets jump into it and see what colours I am loving. Read more →

I wanted to share with you key piece of makeup I am currently wearing on a daily basis. I have never really worn make up but in the past year or so I have started to wear makeup a lot more and am loving it. I am recently been loving wearing a ‘full face of make up’ without looking like I am wearing any, if that makes sense. I am very lucky with the fact my skin is fairly clear so I have never really bothered with any foundation or base makeup. I have recently started to wear bb creams which I much prefer to foundation, as they are a lot more light weight and moisturising. So let’s get into my key piece in my makeup bag at the moment.  Read more →

A couple of weeks ago I made an order from feel unique and wanted to share with you what I picked up. At the time I order these products they had a really good sale on so I decided to pick up some make up products and try them out. I always have showers unless I really want to relax, which is when I will have a bubble bath. I like to mix up the products I use on a daily basis, that way I don’t get bored of what I am using. So I have a variety of products to share with you all.  Read more →

When it comes to hand creams I just can’t get enough of them. I use them all year round but I change which ones I am using depending on the season. With autumn starting to draw in I love bringing out my thicker hand creams to keep my hands moisturised and soft throughout winter. I find my hands can become very dry in the cold weather so I have a routine I like to follow to make sure my hands don’t get too dry and sore. I religiously use hand cream every night, and will use a thick hand cream for a large moisture kick. I will then also use hand cream throughout the day when I feel I need it. I want to show you my favourite hand creams for different times of the year. So let’s get into it. Read more →

I have read so many reviews on the Makeup Revolution eyeshadow palettes that I thought I would go pick one up for my self and see what it is like. I have been on the hunt for a good all round eyeshadow palette that I can use all year round transitioning for day to night and I think I have now found one. I decided to pick up the 32 Ultra shadows Beyond Flawless Palette as it has a beautiful variety of shades that suit my eye/green eyes.  Read more →

Sanctuary Spa is one of my favourite brands, which I don’t think I have mentioned in my blog yet. I have been using sanctuary for years now and I think I became aware of this brand due  to a gift set I was brought for Christmas one year and have been buying it ever since. Read more →

It’s getting to the end of August so I thought it was time to do a summer favourites blog post. I have tried a few different products this summer that I wanted to share with you all, and I obviously have products I go back to every summer because they are just amazing. Read more →

I thought it was time to do a morning skincare routine, as I love reading these and am always interested in which products people are using. My very first blog post was about my must have skincare products and they were all from liz Earle, so it may be no surprise I use them everyday.Read more →

As you can tell by the title I thought I would share with you what I brought in Lush this weekend. Last weekend I spent some time up in London so I decided to use the opportunity to pop into the Oxford Street Lush store. My Fiancé brought me two bath bombs from Lush last Christmas and I loved them so much that I decided to go and purchase some myself.

The Oxford Street Lush store is the flagship store and it is absolutely amazing, with three floor of lush heaven. If you want to get the best experience and choice for Lush then you need to go to Oxford Street store. They have all their normal range, that can be found in any Lush store, but they then have there newest releases and products that are limited to the Oxford Street store.Read more →

By the time your reading this I will have landed in Portugal but I thought I would share with you what I like to take in my holiday wash bag. One of my favourite parts of going on holiday is sorting out what I want to take with me, so it usually takes me about a day to get everything out and packed. We are going away for 2 weeks and this wash bag is for my Fiance and I, there are some things that haven’t been included like razors, toothbrush & paste and hairbrush but the rest is here. Read more →

When it comes to perfume there is one shop that I think have absolutely nailed their scents and that is Jo Malone. I used to live in Kingston Upon Thames, where Jo Malone have one of their many boutiques, which I always ended up in every weekend. The staff there are amazing, nothing is too much for the customer and their scents are to die for. There are so many aspects of Jo Malone I love and there is nothing I can fault about the experience or the customer service.  Read more →

My favourite part of putting on make up is choosing what lip product I want to use. I have a few lip products that I use all the time and I though I would share them with you. I always find it hard to find the right shade and consistency in a lip product, so when I find one it is usually worn to death and then repurchased. I find there are a few brands that I usually stick too as they are reliable and you get exactly what you pay for. Read more →

July 23, 2016

I have been painting my nails for years now and absolutely love doing it. I find I end up doing my nails in the evening as I find it really relaxing and fun. One thing I have learnt over the years is that you need to look after your nails, like any other part of your body, for them to look their best whether they are painted or not. On the whole, my nails are normally in good condition but I find especially in the winter they can start to peel at the tip, which I hate, but I have found some products that help. Read more →

Ever since I was about 12 there has only been one brand of skincare I have religiously used and that is Liz Earle.
