Blogging Goals for 2017

I don’t normally make new years resolutions as I find I will keep them for a month and then I lose motivation so I find if I set goals I am more likely to keep working on them. For 2017 I thought I would set myself some blogging goals.

Find a good balance between full-time work and blogging

I recently started a new full-time job, so I am still trying to find a good balance between full-time work, blogging and my own time. I want to continue writing blog posts 3 times a week, but I not sure if it will be too much. My goal is to get a good balance of both, without either of them suffering.

Start engaging with other blogs

I have only been blogging for 6 months and have now got to the stage where my blog is starting to go somewhere. I love reading other blogs but I want to be reading more of them next year. It’s a great source of inspiration but also supporting other bloggers out there.

Increase my monthly views

Every month I can see my monthly views grow ever so slightly and I would love to continue to see this grow. I am mainly promoting my blog on facebook and twitter. This year I need to get more into Instagram and Pinterest to help reach a wider audience.

Create a media pack

I have been meaning to do this for months but never gotten around to it and I am not sure where to start. I need to have this done by the middle of this year so its all done and I don’t need to worry about it anymore.

Continue with my wedding series

Back in November I started a section on my blog all about planning a wedding and things I have learned along the way. Over blogmas I didn’t do any wedding related blog posts but I want to start writing them again.

I hope you all had a lovely New Years and are looking forward to what 2017 brings you all. I am really looking forward to this year, there are so many exciting things happening.
