Christmas Movies

I absolutely love watching Christmas movies at this time of the year and thought it would be fun to share my favorites with you. There are five movies that I watch every Christmas and love to bits. Some of them I have watched for years and others I have recently found but I couldn’t have Christmas without them. So let’s take a look.

The Polar Express

This is by far my all time favorite Christmas movie that I have watched for years. It used to be a tradition in my house that we would watch The Polar Express on Christmas Eve as it’s the type of movie that really gets you into the Christmas Spirit. The film is a brilliantly animated movie about a boy, who doesn’t believe in Christmas, going on a journey to the North Pole on the Polar Express. One his adventures he learns about the spirit of Christmas as well as how important friendships can be. It is a lovely movie for the whole family and will get everyone into the Christmas spirit.

Prep & Landing, Prep & Landing Naughty vs Nice

I love these two movies as they are short 30 minutes movies that are so much fun to watch. I only found these movies two years ago and love how funny they are. These two movies are all about elves lives around Christmas and how they help Father Christmas deliver all the presents. They are really funny movies and great for people of all ages, especially children. This movie is perfect on Christmas Eve to get your children excited about Father Christmas dropping off their presents.

Arthur Christmas

Arthur Christmas is a really lovely story about how Father Christmas delivers all the presents in one night with a whole team of elves helping out. Then one year one child’s present isn’t delivered so Father Christmas’s son Arthur takes it upon himself to deliver the present in time for Christmas day. It’s a jam packed movie full of adventure with a beautiful ending and I love watching in on the build up to Christmas day.

Elf

If you love really funny and mischevious Christmas movies then you need to watch this one. Elf is all about a boy who was raised as an elf but always wonders why he is too big for everything and why he can’t do elf things like making toys. He is inadvertently wreaking havoc on the elf community so he is finally told the news he isn’t really an elf and his father is from New York. So he decided to go to New York to find his dad and we get to follow him on his adventures. It’s such a funny movie that I love to watch it.

So these are my favorite Christmas movies of all time. Let me know what yours are, I would love to know. Hopefully, this has given you some inspiration for Christmas movies.

Merry Christmas, Steph x
