My Skincare Must Haves

Ever since I was about 12 there has only been one brand of skincare I have religiously used and that is Liz Earle. My mum was the one who persuaded me to start using it and I have been hooked ever since. I have tried using other skincare products over the years but I always end up going back to Liz Earle.

Liz Earle is well known for its use of naturally active ingredients and being suitable for any skin type. I have sensitive skin and have never had any problems with these products. Liz Earle has an extensive range of products for the face, body, fragrances but also scented candles. These Products are quite pricey but I swear by them all and can’t live without them, so for me they are completely worth the price.

My morning skincare routine consists of three products; Cleanse & Polish, Instance Boost Skin Tonic and Skin Repair Moisturiser. These three products work amazingly together and help to keep my skin clean and glowing everyday. My morning routine only takes 2 minutes, which I love as I always have time for it. I prefer to use the ‘light’ skin moisturiser as i feel the ‘normal’ mosituriser is too heavy on my skin and my skin doesn’t need a lot of mosituising. The instant boost tonic can be used any time of the day, as it is perfect for rehydrating you face throughout the day. I like to carry one when I am travelling, as it instantly freshens and  brightens your face.

Aside from my essential Liz Earle products there are a few other products I like to have and use now and again. Firstly the rose and lavender Cleanse and Polish is amazing to use at night when you want to completely relax and unwind, with the scent of lavender. The Superskin Concentrate is another great product to use just before bed. All you need to do is roll the product onto your temples and rub in a circular motion. This is guaranteed to send you off to sleep, from personal experience.

Now and again I get spots and I find the Spot On liquid really help to calm down my spots after a day or two. As a bonus, Spot On has tea tree oil in it, meaning it smells lovely as well. When I want to have a little pampering session I love to use the Intensive Nourishing Treatment Mask as it does wonders for my skin. I leave this mask on your face for about 10-15 minutes and once I have wiped the excess mask off, my skin looks visually more hydrated. I absolutely love this product and would recommend it to anyone who feels their skin needs an instant boost of hydration.

My final product is Eyebright, which is another of my favorites. This product has done wonders for my eyes and really works. I put a small amount of the liquid onto two cotton pads and placing them on my eyes for about 5 minutes to help sooth and calm my eyes. I find in the summer my eyelids swell up due to the heat. I always use Eyebright to help calm them down and reduce the swelling. Another use for Eyebright is you can use it to take off your eye make-up in a very gentle and natural way.

So here are my skincare must haves that I can’t live without. How about you, what skincare products do you need in your life?
